View showing Park Street hill in downtown Bangor, Maine, circa 1900. Photograph is not dated, but would be between 1893 and 1911. Photograph taken from the perspective of the Bangor City Hall tower located at the corner of Hammond and Columbia Streets, a building which opened in 1893. Much of this area destroyed by the Great Fire of Bangor in April 1911.
Shown here are Norumbega Hall which stood on an island between the Kenduskeag Stream split at at the bridge on Franklin Street. Also shown is the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor at 120 Park Street.
