Charles Albert Fessenden. Private, U.S. Army Infantry.

15 March 1919 - 27 November 1944.

Entered the service 29 April 1944. Trained at Camp Blanding, Florida. Went overseas in October. Killed in action in the advance on Torcheville, Lorraine, France. Born in Stetson Maine. Graduated from Bangor High School, 1939, and entered the shoe manufacturing business. Married, and was the father of a son David.
