Description

-- A 79-year-old Camden man, Everett Crandall, was airlifted from the top of Mount Beattie by a helicopter from Dow Air Force Base, Tuesday afternoon almost 2r hours after he began a climb that took him within 400 yards of the peak (includes photograph).

-- First CAP Group in the State of Maine to make a helicopter flight as they prepare to board the aircraft.
