Description
Provides a brief history of Bangor to that point. The most compelling section of this, however, begins on page 13. This section is called "Observation on the Foregoing." These paragraphs speak ill of those in banking and positions of wealth who "will not engage themselves ... to any industrial undertaking" for the benefit of anyone but themselves.
