Entered service with the 152nd Field Artillery as a private, March 1941. Commissioned July 1942. Overseas December 1943. Killed in action with Patton's "Breakthrough" Division at Rennes, Ille et Vilaine, France. Native of Houlton. Graduated, Houlton High and Coburn Classical Institute. Expert basketball player. In business in Bangor. Purple Heart.
