6 July 1924 - 13 November 1944.
His life opened at Forest City, Maine. It ended somewhere in Lorraine, France, where, after eighteen months of service, he fell in action as the "Super 6th" attacked. Studied at Bangor High, 1940-1942. Worked as a clerk and driver. Enjoyed stamp collecting, fly-tying and fishing. Combat Infantryman Badge. Purple Heart.
