Entered the Army, 29 June 1942. Trained at Camp Gordon, Fort McClellan, and Fort Dix. Went overseas, January 1944. Died in base hospital in England of wounds received in action in Normandy, D-Day plus five. Bangor High School, 1937. Junior varsity basketball manager. In the automobile service business. Purple Heart.
