W. Stuart Treworgy. Private U.S. Army Infantry. Company F, 3rd Ranger Infantry Battalion. 27 February 1925 - 26 January 1944.

Entered the Army from the Maine State Guard. Trained at Camp Wheeler, Georgia. Fought overseas in Africa, Naples, and the Anzio Beachhead where he was fatally wounded. Born at Verona, Maine. Bangor resident from 1931. Studied at Fifth Street Junior High and Bangor High. Enjoyed baseball and softball. Purple Heart.
