Studied one year at Bangor High School. Enlisted June 1943. Killed in action at Okinawa. A lover of the out-of-doors, who even at Okinawa always lifted up his eyes to the hills, he found more happiness in his nineteen years than do most men in thrice as many. Purple Heart.
