Description
The Grace United Methodist Church at the corner of Union and Clinton Street, in Bangor, Maine, circa 1895. The church opened in 1855 and held its last service in June 2019. Photograph known to be 1895 or earlier because a Bangor Daily News article concerning the church's closing from May 7, 2019, indicates that the steeple in the picture was replaced in 1896 by a dome due to wind damage.
