Sharpshooter and Combat Infantryman. Fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was killed in action at Hamm, Westphalia, Germany. Native of Hampden. Resident of Bangor. Engaged in the oil business. His recreations were hunting and fishing. Father of two children: Nancy Ann Stimpson and Arthur Francis Stimpson. Purple Heart.
