Harry V. Daggett, Jr. Sergeant, U.S. Army Air Forces 873rd Battalion Airborne Engineers. 11 February 1922 - 31 October 1943.
Just one year after enlisting he died through accident during the heavy fighting at Guadalcanal. Trained at Miami Beach, Louisiana State University, Westover Field, and Fort Bragg. Born in Pensacola, Florida. Graduated, Stephens High, Rumford, Maine, 1939. In the retail shoe business in Bangor. His sports were golf and hunting.
