Book of Honor
This is the Bangor Book of Honor, it was created just following World War II, to honor those of Bangor who had died during the War. Mr. L. Felix Ranlett, then Librarian of the Bangor Public Library, and a veteran of WWI, put this book together to honor Bangor's fallen. There are 113 veterans, who gave their lives in almost every campaign and major battle of the Second World War. Each entry lists the serviceman, his dates and a 52 word summary of their service.
