Born at Ripogenus Dam. Came to Bangor, 1922. Bangor High School, 1937. An enthusiast with motorcycles, model airplanes, and baseball. In the express business. Enlisted, National Guard, 1940. Left with Bangor's own outfit 24 February 1941. Killed in a motorcycle crash while driving from Camp Shelby, Mississippi, during training period.
