8 July 1924 - 14 October 1944.
Born in Eastport "Happy" Frye attended grammar school in Bangor. Entered service 11 January 1942. Fought in North Africa and Italy with 34th and 85th Infantry divisions. Killed in action in Italy. A lover of the out-of-doors, of baseball and of things mechanical. A soldier with many friends. Purple Heart.
