Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in combat operations sustained against the enemy for more than three months, until he fell in action near Cassino, Italy. Fought also in Tunisia. Lifelong resident of Bangor. Graduated, Bangor High School, 1925. Engaged in the Food business. Enlisted, 8 February 1943. Purple Heart.
