30 December 1923 - 18 August 1943.
Began Merchant Marine service October 1942. Attained rating of Junior assistant purser 9 July 1943. Died of illness at Marine Hospital, Brighton, Massachusetts. Studied at St. Mary's School and John Bapst High School. In civil life a clerk in the paper industry in Louisiana. Fond of hunting, fishing, and baseball.
