Description
A view of Bangor featuring the waterfront. This view shows 8 church steeples, with St. John's Catholic being the nearest. The waterfront area shows the sawmills, lumber wharves, store houses, lumber rafts, and piles of lumber awaiting shipment. To the left is the covered bridge from Bangor to Brewer. This bridge was washed out in the freshet of 1902.
