15 February 1920 - 12 November 1944.
Entered the service April, 1942. Trained at Fort McClellan, Alabama; Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; and Columbia, South Carolina. Went to the Pacific Theatre April 1943. Fought at New Guinea and the Philippines. Fell in action at Leyte. Studied at Bangor High School and was in the grocery business in Bangor.
