John Leslie Coffin, Jr. Private, U.S Army Air Forces. Clark Field, Pampanga ,Philippine Islands. 11 November 1918 - 8 December 1041.
Born the day one war ended, he died in action at Clark Field the day the next began. Following graduation in 1936, from Ellsworth High School, where he was baseball captain, he became a salesman. Enlisted September 1940. Went overseas January 1941. Father of a daughter, Judith Ann. Purple Heart.
